I am the way. I am the light. I am cult-lite.
Cult Lite - no suicidal stand-offs required.
1984 Lite - they spy on you but you elect them anyway
News Lite - well, you know, you see it on the teevee every day
Reality Lite - everything minus the body bags

in the lazy piss fields
citizens roam
disabled by oaths chokes
burnt offerings
loaned throats
stretching dainty towards the rope
a bad case of martyr's shingles
a worry wart
split phantoms
soot breath
exhaling pardons
to ease their passing
into the piss fields |

The best squid/cephalopod site on the net has honored me once again by posting "Squidball".
I have it on a shirt if anyone is interested. Click on pic.

Hey, Shakira, Tracy Chapman called - she wants her voice back.
Oh, and whoever the fuck "AFI" is - I saw your video on teevee today - Flock of Seagulls called, they said you can keep the hair as long as you agree to stop playing music.
Christ, what uninspired shite. Who buys this crap?
Returning to lovely Northern Ohio - Life in the air age - old Uhaul Building
Birthday month self series - The world's most intense Olan Mills photographer - don't piss him off or he'll destroy the negatives.

My friends, and CreDi contributors, John and David are heading off to Sofia, Bulgaria tomorrow. If I know them they'll immediately semi-master some of the local folk instruments and be seen jamming with the natives in some Sofia pub. Cheers!
And here's my recent version of them - acrylic, 2006, Holtek
Back in the day any sane person knew never to mess with the Dock Boss.

Trespasser is such a harsh word. I prefer to think of us as "freelance infrastructure inspectors". Anyway, on my recent visit to the bowels of Northern Ohio I snapped a few.
You can't have nothing but respect for those old lead-based red paints - they just fucking last forever. (I didn't adjust the saturation, it really is that red)
Almost makes me wanna go up and eat a few chips and kill some brain cells just out of respect. |

Sometimes when I make things I like to pretend that the fabrication/creation is happening just as the thing also emerges from out of the ground, like an artifact. I like to find what I create and create what I find. I love that "50-50 state" where the object is half there and half still buried. Sometimes in order to complete a work part of it has to remain undiscovered, still buried in the ground.
The best picture I never took - coming soon - my rescued photo collection
In honor of it being my birthday month here's the start of a month-long self portrait series.
